I have had a funny time of late. The lack of jobs got me down a couple of weeks ago. I was really depressed. I have been trying so hard to stay upbeat, but after nearly 2 weeks of very limited work, I just cracked. It's not been an easy time, but since signing up with my new agency THS (www.thsresourcing.co.uk), I have had great work and finally I am being paid a decent rate. I do highly reccommend these guys if you are looking for work in London or even elsewhere as they have an office in the Isle of Wight.
Anyway, Last week I got a long tem temp role paying much more than what I have been getting recently. I am very excited! I start tomorrow! On top of everything else, it's a real job as opposed to the reception and general admin role I have been doing of late. It's really perked me up and I am raring to go! They offer flexi-time too which is a bonus and it's not too far from home!
The weekend just gone was a good one! Saturday was spent with my bf's family for Fathers day as he was going abroad yesterday. In the evening we went to watch N*E*R*D in concer which again was very cool! Yesterday morning he jetted off to Russia whilst I did a charity run for Prostate Cancer UK. I am going to try and keep a regular blog going now! I am also hoping to start up my little web project soon too. I am creating a tech blog which will review sites and new technology. www.geakbeak.com is coming soon!!!
